Now feature S&S Easy Start cams for easier starting
All motors have a 41/8 inch bore, a 45/8 inch stroke and forged pistons with 10.8:1 compression ratio
Feature super strong S&S Twin Cam-style crankcases with extra thickness in key stress areas
Timken-style sprocket shaft bearing for superior strength and load capacity
S&S's legendary flywheel, connecting rods, .640 lift gear drive Easy Start cams, S&S cylinders and pistons, S&S cylinder heads, rocker arms, rocker covers also feature the new SS Twin Cam-style oil pump and tappets
Available in single-bore fuel-injection style or carbureted style
Single-bore fuel-injection version features a Delphi-style S&S Variable Fuel Injection (VFI) module, manifold, throttle body, fuel rail, injectors and Desperado teardrop air cleaner (Harley-Davidson Screamin' Eagle EFI Race Tuner Kit or similar aftermarket fuel-injection module may also be used)
Throttle body has the same bore diameter as S&S Super G carburetor, so it provides ample airflow for high-performance 124 inches motors does not include idle air control motor, throttle position sensor, MAP sensor or temperature sensor; optional tuned induction air cleaner available
Carbureted versions feature an SS Super G series carb with the slotted 'Desperado' air cleaner cover, and come with an S&S Intelligent Spark Technology (IST) ignition system which automatically adjusts ignition timing, retarding it at detonation or during knocking to prevent engine damage, and advancing it for maximum power and economy when detonation or knocking is not present
